LOCATION AND CLIMATE
Gradac (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is located in the bottom of mountain Biokovo. It is the southest settlement in Makarska riviera, located around 40 km far from Makarska. Municipality Gradac has around 3600 inhabitants that are into agriculture, fishing and tourism.
Climate in Gradac is Mediterranean. It has beautiful pebble beaches and clean sea.
HISTORY
Gradac has been inhabitated since Prehistory. In area of Gradac used to be town Lapcan or Labinac. Name Gradac was first time mentioned in 1649. It was named by fort of St. Mihovil. One of the oldest monuments in Gradac is Chapel of St. Paskval.
